Performed by The Brahmari Ensemble. 98 ensemble members perform a sound meditation in the 13 storey stairwell of BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art. The meditation is called brahmari - a Sanskrit word for bee, as the sound evokes the sound of a bee. The sound creates a hive experience for both performers and audience, voices become entrained to each other. The sound is experienced by walking down the stairwell and also broadcast across the river Tyne to Newcastle through a PA system.
